Privacy Policy

Suki respects your privacy. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Suki — and more importantly, what doesn't.

The short version

• We don't have servers. Suki has no backend. We cannot see your data because we have no way to see your data.
• Your data stays on your iPhone. All customers, products, transactions, and chat messages are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData.
• iCloud sync is optional and private. If you're signed into iCloud, Suki syncs your data to your private iCloud account so it's backed up and available on your other Apple devices. We don't have access to your iCloud.
• We don't track you. No analytics, no advertising IDs, no third-party SDKs.
• We don't share your data. We can't — we don't have it.

What data Suki handles

Suki creates and stores the following data locally on your iPhone:

• Customer names, phone numbers, optional photos, and any credit limit you set
• Products, prices, stock counts, and recipe ingredients
• Transactions (sales, credit, payments) and any due dates you set on them
• Expenses (gastos) you log
• Chat messages within the app
• Your store name, language, and other preferences

This data is yours. It never leaves your device except to sync with your own private iCloud (if you have iCloud enabled in iOS Settings).

Things that stay on one device

A few items are deliberately kept on the device that created them, and are never synced:

• Your payment QR image (GCash, Maya, or any QR Ph code) and your receipt logo — stored as files on that device
• Your staff-mode PIN — stored as a salted hash in the device keychain, never as the number itself. It isn't recoverable by us, and it isn't sent anywhere
• Face ID / Touch ID settings — iOS handles the authentication itself. Suki is only told yes or no; it never sees or stores anything about your face or fingerprint

Backups you make

Suki can save your whole store into a single backup file. That file goes wherever you put it — your phone, your Files app, your own drive. We never receive it.

The backup is a plain, unencrypted file, so anyone who opens it can read your sales and customer names. Keep it somewhere you trust, and think twice before emailing or messaging it to anyone.

iCloud sync

If you're signed into iCloud, Suki uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your Apple devices. This means:

• Your data is stored in your private iCloud, not ours
• Apple encrypts the data in transit and at rest
• Only you can access this data through devices signed into your Apple ID
• If you delete iCloud data from your device, it's deleted from iCloud too
• We, the makers of Suki, have no access to your iCloud contents

You can disable iCloud sync for Suki at any time through iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud → Suki.

What we don't collect

Suki does not collect, store, or share:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your location
• Your device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Crash reports or usage analytics (the app sends zero telemetry)
• Any data about how you use the app
• Any personal or financial information

Your purchase

Your ₱299 purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment method, billing information, or Apple ID. Suki has no in-app paywall and no unlock step — once you've bought it on the App Store, it just works.

Third-party services

Suki does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.

The only external service Suki uses is Apple's iCloud for optional data sync, which is protected by Apple's standard encryption and privacy protections.

Children's privacy

Suki is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data retention

All data lives on your device and in your iCloud. When you delete Suki or delete the data within it, the data is deleted. We have no copy to retain.

Your rights

Because we don't collect your data, there's nothing for you to request from us. You own and control all data within Suki directly.

To export your data, use Settings → Data (CSV, an accountant sheet, or a full backup file). To delete it, use Settings → Delete all data, or uninstall Suki and remove its data from iCloud.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Suki handles data — like if we add a feature that requires sending data to a server — we'll update this policy and notify you through the app before changes take effect.
