Common questions
I bought Suki but can't find it on my new iPhone
Because Suki is a one-time App Store purchase tied to your Apple ID, you can redownload it for free on any device signed into the same Apple ID — no re-purchase, no unlock step.
To redownload:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone
- Tap your profile picture → Purchased
- Find Suki in the list and tap the cloud icon to download
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy it
If Suki doesn't appear in Purchased, email us with the Apple ID address used for the purchase and we'll help you sort it out with Apple.
My data isn't syncing across devices
Suki syncs through your private iCloud. To troubleshoot:
- Open iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud
- Make sure iCloud Drive is turned on
- Scroll to "Apps Using iCloud" and make sure Suki is enabled
- Both devices need to be signed into the same Apple ID
- Sync may take a minute — try pulling down to refresh the list
If it still doesn't sync, try turning iCloud for Suki off and on again, or restart the iPhone.
How do I log a sale?
Three ways:
- Chat tab. Type something like "Mark 2 Lucky Me on credit" and tap send. Suki will show a confirmation card — tap Confirm to save.
- Sell tab. Tap products to add them to a sale, set the payment type, then Save.
- Customer detail. Open a suki and tap New sale to charge them, or Receive to record a bayad.
How do I track customer credit (utang)?
When you log a transaction with payment type "Credit," it automatically goes to that customer's balance. Open the Customers tab to see everyone's current balance. Color codes show who's paid up, who has a balance, and who's overdue.
Can I send payment reminders?
Yes. Open any customer with a balance and tap Remind. This opens WhatsApp with a friendly, pre-filled message in your chosen language. Review it, hit send, done.
Prefer text messages? Switch the reminder channel to Messages (SMS) in Settings. Your carrier's usual SMS rates apply there.
For a bigger balance, Statement shares their whole utang as one clean image.
How do I delete a customer or product?
Open the customer or product, then use Delete in its edit screen. Past transactions stay intact — deleting a suki doesn't erase the sales you already recorded.
If you've turned on Face ID for deletes, Suki asks for it first.
Can I export my data?
Yes — Settings → Data. You have three options:
- CSV export — every sale, suki, and product, ready for Numbers, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Accountant sheet — one dated sheet with sales, utang payments, and gastos in books-style columns. Pick this month, last month, this year, or everything.
- Backup file — your whole store in one file you keep and can restore later.
How do I back up, or move to a new phone?
Two ways, and they work together:
- iCloud. If you're signed in, Suki syncs quietly in the background. Install it on the new iPhone with the same Apple ID and your data follows.
- Backup file. Settings → Backup saves everything into one file. Keep it wherever you like, then restore it on the new phone.
Restoring replaces what's currently in the app, so it's an all-or-nothing swap — not a merge. Suki asks before it does anything.
I turned on staff mode and forgot the PIN
Use Face ID (or Touch ID) at the PIN screen — that's the way back in. Too many wrong tries in a row pauses the keypad for a minute, then you get a fresh set of tries.
The PIN lives only on that device and is never sent anywhere, so we can't reset it for you.
Does Suki work on iPad?
Yes. Suki runs on iPad and the layout adapts to the bigger screen. We design for iPhone first, so there are no iPad-specific extras like split view yet. If you keep an iPad at the counter, turn on staff mode.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet, and we're not going to guess at a date. There's a working Android build, but Google Play requires new developers to complete a closed test before an app can go public, and we haven't cleared that gate. Until we do, Suki is iPhone and iPad only. When that changes, this page changes.
I found a bug / I have a feature request
Email us at hello@getsuki.app with the subject line "Bug" or "Feature request" and a short description. We read every message. We can't build everything, but we prioritize based on what users ask for most.
How do I change the app language?
Settings → Language → English or Filipino. The interface changes immediately, no restart. Chat understands both languages either way.
I'm thinking about buying but not sure
Email us any question before you buy. We'd rather answer 10 questions than have one unhappy customer. hello@getsuki.app
Something else?
The FAQ covers pricing, privacy, and what Suki does day to day. The features page walks through every part of the app.
If your question isn't answered in either, just email us. We read everything.
