Terms of Service
Last updated: April 20, 2026
These are the terms of service ("Terms") for Suki, a mobile application for iPhone made by George Mañibo ("Suki," "we," "us"). By downloading or using Suki, you agree to these Terms.
1. What you're buying
When you pay ₱299 for Suki on the App Store, you're buying a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Apple devices, bound to your Apple ID. You're not buying the software itself — you're buying the right to use it.
This license is:
- One-time. No subscription, no recurring charges.
- For your use. You can use Suki on any device signed into your Apple ID.
- Not transferable. You can't sell, rent, or give your license to someone else.
If you lose access to your Apple ID, you lose access to Suki — because Apple manages purchase history, not us.
2. Using Suki
You agree to use Suki for its intended purpose: tracking sales, customer credit, and inventory for your business.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Attempt to bypass Apple's App Store purchase flow
- Use Suki in any way that violates Philippine law or Apple's App Store terms
- Resell or redistribute Suki
3. Your data
You own your data. Suki stores it locally on your device and optionally syncs it through your private iCloud. We don't have access to it.
See our Privacy Policy for details.
You're responsible for backing up your data. We recommend keeping iCloud sync enabled.
4. Disclaimers
Suki is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We don't guarantee that:
- Suki will be free of bugs or errors
- Suki will be available at all times
- Suki will meet every specific need you might have
- The data calculations will be accurate in every edge case
You use Suki at your own discretion and risk. Always double-check critical business calculations before acting on them.
Suki is a tool to help you track your business. It is not:
- An accounting system (consult an accountant for tax filings)
- A legal record of transactions
- A replacement for BIR-compliant receipts or bookkeeping
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Philippine law, we are not liable for:
- Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Data loss (though we've designed Suki to minimize this risk through iCloud sync)
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the app (₱299)
6. Updates and changes
We may release updates to Suki through the App Store. These updates are included in your purchase at no extra cost.
We may change these Terms over time. If we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
7. Termination
You may stop using Suki at any time by deleting it from your iPhone.
We may terminate your right to use Suki if you violate these Terms. In practice, this is extremely unlikely — we don't monitor usage.
Termination doesn't entitle you to a refund. For refund requests, contact Apple directly through your Apple ID purchase history.
8. Refunds
All refund requests for Suki must go through Apple. Apple's refund policy governs. We can't issue refunds directly because all payments go through the App Store.
To request a refund from Apple:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Suki purchase
- Click "Report a Problem"
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.
